If you want to understand your Bible properly then read it backwards.

Read Revelations, then Jude, then John 3, John 2 and then John 1, which is all about antichrists.

Work your way back through the Bible a book at a time. Read Acts before the 4 gospels. Luke wrote Acts before he wrote his gospel, that's obvious when you read them that way round.

Read, John, Luke, Mark, then Matthew, not the other way round. John and Luke were actually at the crucifixion. Mark was written third hand. Matthew rips off Mark (the first sin was plagiarism!).

Read Malachi, then Zechariah. Work your way through the minor profits before tackling the Big Four.

By the time you reach Genesis you'll see The Book in a whole different light.
