Ah, September!
You are the doorway to the season that awakens my soul ...
but I must confess that I love you only because you are a prelude to my beloved October
the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world
are the ones who do.
say
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind
The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read
You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go
For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness
You cannot change what you refuse to confront.
Don’t think of cost. Think of value.
Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly.
Too many people buy things they don’t need with money they don’t have to impress people they don’t know
No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying.
Giving up doesn’t always mean you’re weak, sometimes it means you are strong enough and smart enough to let go and move on.
If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.
Trying to be someone else is a waste of the person you are
People are more what they hide than what they show
Learn to appreciate the things you have before time forces you appreciate the things you once had
You don’t drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Dana went on to do nude and erotic roles
(we had a few different strokes over them )
Toward the end of her career, Plato chose roles that were erotic
she appeared nude in Prime Suspect (1989) and Compelling Evidence (1995), and in the softcore erotic drama Different Strokes: The Story of Jack and Jill...and Jill (1998), the title of which was changed after filming in order to tie it to Plato's past.
In the same year, following her appearance in the film, Plato appeared in a cover story of the lesbian lifestyle-magazine Girlfriends.
Some go with the "gay" story - this was put round by Lou and the bodybuilders - men who cover themselves in oil and stand on a stage in a little pair of pants flexing their muscles while an audience of men scream at them tend to be homophobic for some reason
Some say it was because Batman was Bruce Wayne
Some producer didn't like the alliterative names Marvel always used, Peter Parker, Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Matt Murdock, Jonah Jameson, etc
Bruce Banner played by Bill Bixby was a bit much to take
Other they is that this is a different Universe so David Banner, the Medical Doctor who becomes the Hulk through the strength experiment, is not the same as Bruce Banner the Physicist military scientist who becomes the Hulk from the bomb accident
Kenneth Johnson needed a new name and David was the name of his son

There is joy in the family on the day a new baby arrives
There are congratulations from relations and husbands and wives
And old grandad and grandma are smiling on their happy day
As they both dream of their childhood those days their whole life turned away
Every day he is growing very soon he's a baby no more
On his first day of school mommy smiles as he walks out the door
With a tear in her eye she remembers her own first school day
Oh but now where are those days it's amazing how time slips away
Many years past he's grown up with a wife and a child of his own
And they all live together so happy in their home sweet home
There are times when he's holding his baby his own pride and joy
That his thoughts go a wandering back to when he was a boy
Now the years they have flown he's an old man all wrinkled and grey
He's grandaddy now and his grandchildren come round to play
They are good little children they love him they have so much fun
While grandad sits in his chair and remembers when he too was young
We're spinning around
We're up and we're down
We're taking a ride on the merry-go-round
We're ringing the bell of life's carousel
And when you'll get off it nobody can tell
We don't have a care
When we've got the fair
But sometimes we don't and we're left standing there
But soon it's OK and we're up off the ground
And we're riding again on the merry-go-round
On white horses let me ride away
To my world of dreams so far away
Let me run
To the sun
To a world my heart can understand
It's a warm and gentle wonder land
Far away
Stars away
Where the clouds are made of candyfloss
As the day's born
When the stars are gone
We'll race to meet the dawn
So when I can only see the grey
Of a sad and very lonely day
That's when I
Softly sigh
On white horses
Snowy white horses
Let me ride away
So this was the origin story for Madame Webb - who she is and how she came to be (as per Batman story no 6)
So we only get to see Cassandra become Md W right at the end, with her powers, how she ended up we see the 3 versions of Spider woman, who will become SW, and a quick future flash of them in costume this sets up things for solo SW movies or series which of course will never happen - like Sacsha Calles version of Supergirl introduced in Flash
So all the potential here for Jennifer Carpenter to get her own Spiderwoman movie was never going to be realised - keeping in mind she is the second Spiderwoman after Jessica Drew, the second Arachne, and then becomes the second Madame Webb as well
Same goes for the other two versions - Anya as Arana and then Spider Girl - and Mattie as Spider woman, keeping in mind her appearances in Jessica Jones, so a crossover option there - whether they would have had some "trio" film, their own stories, or this being a Madame Webb 2 where they actually go out and do something with it
and this "waste" was planned from the start .
It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.
She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.
And in front of her,
she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter
there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.
But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.
Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.
The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know
it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean
The cheerful-chirping cricket
contends gray autumn's gay,
contemptuous of frost
—Matsuo Basho,
Illuminated by the harvest moon
smoke is caught creeping
across the water ...
—Hattori Ransetsu,
An empty road
lonelier than abandonment:
this autumn evening
—Matsuo Basho,
A solitary crow
clings to a leafless branch:
autumn twilight
—Matsuo Basho,
Brief autumn breeze ...
she always wanted to pluck
the reddest roses
—Issa,
Taming the rage
of an unrelenting sun—
autumn breeze.
—Basho,
The sun sets,
relentlessly red,
yet autumn’s in the wind.
—Basho,
As autumn deepens,
a butterfly sips
chrysanthemum dew.
—Basho,
This strange flower
investigated by butterflies and birds:
the autumn sky
—Matsuo Basho
Cooling the pitiless sun’s
bright red flames:
autumn wind.
—Matsuo Basho
Saying farewell to others
while being told farewell:
departing autumn.
—Matsuo Basho
Traveling this road alone:
autumn evening.
—Matsuo Basho
Thin from its journey
and not yet recovered:
late harvest moon.
—Matsuo Basho
This world—
to what may we compare it?
To autumn fields
lying darkening at dusk
illuminated by lightning flashes.
—Minamoto no Shitago
Sick of this autumn migration
in dreams I drift
over flowerless fields ...
―Matsuo Basho
Denied transformation
into a butterfly,
autumn worsens for the worm
—Matsuo Basho
Picking autumn plums
my wrinkled hands
once again grow fragrant
―Yosa Buson
A crow has settled
on a naked branch―
autumn nightfall
―Basho
Sick of its autumn migration
my spirit drifts
over wilted fields ...
―Matsuo Basho
The first morning of autumn:
the mirror I investigate
reflects my father’s face
―Masaoka Shiki
Brittle autumn leaves
crumble to dust
in the freezing wind.
—Takao
Dewdrops beading blades of grass
have so little time to shine before dawn;
let the autumn wind not rush too quickly through the field!
—Eihei Dogen Kigen
Autumn, the year’s last, loveliest smile.
Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
For man, Autumn is a time of harvest, of gathering together. For nature, it is a time of sowing, of scattering abroad.
How beautiful the leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days.
everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.
Life is a dream, and Autumn is a dream within a dream!
Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons.
The most beautiful carpet is the carpet made of autumn leaves!
The last total lunar eclipse visible in the UK was in 2022, and it won't occur again until August 2026.
The phenomenon occurs when the sun, Earth and the moon align perfectly with one another in a straight line.
As the moon passes through the darkest part of the Earth's shadow - known as the umbra - it causes it to turn a deep, dark red colour, creating what is known as a blood moon.
The eclipse will begin while the moon is still below the UK's horizon.
as it rises, it will already be in total eclipse.
7.33pm on Sunday
It will continue to slowly move out of the Earth's shadow until 9.55pm, giving stargazers in the UK approximately two hours and 22 minutes to see the eclipse.
When the moon is in the Earth's umbra, it does not get any direct sunlight, meaning only light that is refracted through Earth's atmosphere manages to reach the moon.
Shorter blue wavelengths of light are typically scattered by the Earth's atmosphere, leaving longer red wavelengths to pass through - hence the red tones of the moon.
The more dust or clouds in Earth's atmosphere during the eclipse, the redder the moon appears,
This same atmospheric refraction effect is what causes sunsets and sunrises to look red.
