Vassago Jabberwocky

I posted Lewis Carroll's famous poem to my blog the other day. Some people asked me why.

(I won't reprint it here but if you want to read it, follow this link:

Alice's journey through the looking glass is about a white pawn who makes her way across the board one square at a time and eventually becomes a Queen, the most powerful piece in the game.

In Martial Art, a warrior goes on a pilgramage, called a Musha Shugyu - a Warrior's Journey. I personally follow the stories and blogs of many famous Warriors from Stone to John Rees to the great Corey Rudl.

Like Alice, many of us on our own journeys feel we are through the Looking Glass or lost in Wonderland. But at the end of the journey we can all become Queens (or Kings).

We may encounter a few odd characters along the way, a Jabberwocky, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, even the odd Cheshire Cat.

The journey may be hard at times, but once you get there, the view can be spectacular.
